Who Are We?
I am an educator that is passionate about sharing this important truth that very few people know: The tax code was designed to provide HOPE, not WORRY. HOPE for achievement, HOPE for peace of mind, and HOPE in so many other ways, important to the entrepreneur.
Early in my 44+ years in mathematics, tax, and consulting for achievement, I designed and maintained a study with this core conclusion: 85%+ of all entrepreneurs pay too much in tax. This research also produced real-life workable solutions to this ongoing problem.
I graduated from Arizona State University (Tempe, Arizona) with a Bachelor of Science in the honors program of accounting in 1975. Upon graduation, I joined the professional staff of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (PMM & Co.) in their Phoenix, Arizona office. I also held a State of Arizona CPA license (2606-E).
I currently live with my wife of more than forty-four years in Utah along with my dogs and horses. My five children live in Japan, China, Hawaii, Utah, and Texas and I enjoy traveling to visit them.
Communication is one of my strengths and the degree I graduated with from the University of Utah in 2003. I thrive on building trust-filled relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels. I have been leading winning teams for the past 20 years. Getting to work with a team of vision achievers, tax strategists, cash flow optimizers, equity-value builders, and thought leaders is a dream come true. I also love my family, the ocean, traveling and finding the positive in any situation.
I retired from the medical profession with over 30 years of customer care and service. I enjoy working with our clients in getting their business needs met in a fast and efficient way. When not at work I enjoy crafting, sewing, spending time with friends and family and doing community work with my church.
I have spent the last 10 years working in Women and Newborn services. While I thoroughly enjoyed caring for my patients, I decided I wanted to pursue a degree in Business Administration. I was lucky enough to find an amazing team of people who are helping me grow and learn, all while we are helping others improve their lives. I have a love for life! My family and I enjoy spending as much time outdoors all year round. I love backpacking, the ocean, traveling, and learning new things.
With over 7 years of experience in the field, I am well versed in all administrative tasks. Problem solving is one of my strengths, and I enjoy helping others in this area. As an enthusiastic and versatile member of the team, I am willing to respond to the challenging needs of any role. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my children, painting, and exploring the city.
I am super passionate about building genuine connections with people. For the past 15 years I have had the privilege of working in a leadership role that allowed me to do just that. I have excelled in growing and maintaining a team of 40+ individuals in both a work-from-home and in-office setting. I believe that open communication, building a foundation of mutual trust and having a common purpose is vital to any successful working relationship. I love to explore new challenges, as well as find creative ways to bring people together. My favorite motto is “If you can do something nice for someone, you should.” Outside of work I am entirely in love with my husband and my two little girls. We enjoy traveling, camping and are always open to trying new things.
My compassion and energy has always driven me to excel in my connections with people.
For the past 10 years I have helped manage Dental practices. Helping business owners fulfill their dreams has been a passion of mine.
This has filled my desire to expand my knowledge and now I am in the process of studying for my Enrolled Agent.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids and 2 dogs. We love going on hikes, swimming and watching movies
